Aloo Chana Chat-Indian Street Food & Healthy Snack-Chick peas-garbonzo Beans-kabuli Chana

Aloo Chana Chaat is an Indian street food, which is very tasty and spicy. It makes a nice evening snack.
Ingredients
1 cup Whole chana/Chickpeas/Garbanzo beans/Kabuli chana/Senagalu
1 large potato
1 medium size onion
1 tomato
handful of cilantro/coriander leaves
a few mint leaves
a handful of green onions
1/2 cup yogurt
3-4 tbsp sweet & sour chutney (tamarind & date chutney)
1 tbsp or more chana chat masala powder
1/2 tsp coriander cumin powder
3/4 tsp or more red chili powder
salt to taste
Some fine sev or fried chana for garnishing

Preparation
Soak chickpeas for an hour in water.
Then boil them until they are completely done.
Boil the potato and then when it is cool down crumble into small pieces.
Cut the tomato and onion into very small pieces.
Finely chop green onions.
Chop cilantro and mint finely.

 Procedure
Take a bowl and add boiled chickpeas and potato  to it. To these add onion, tomato, cilantro, mint, green onions and give them a good mix.
Add yogurt and sweet and sour (date & tamarind) chutney and mix them well.
Add red chilli powder, coriander cumin powder and chana chat powder and mix again. Transfer this into your serving bowls and garnish with fine sev or fried chana dal and some more cilantro and green onions.
