Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
2 cups of whole wheat
1/2 cup together almond slices and coconut flakes
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3-5 cardamoms
Wet Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
1 cup jaggery
1 cup yogurt or buttermilk
1/2 cup butter

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Grease the bread pan and keep it aside.
Combine the dry ingredients except coconut and almonds by sifting them once. Add cardamoms also and keep them aside.
Take the wet ingredients into a food processor or blender and make them into a fine paste. Take this mixture into a mixing bowl.
Procedure
Now add dry ingredients slowly into the wet ingredients by mixing with a spatula. Add coconut flakes and almond slices also and mix it again. Do not over mix. Pour this mixture into the greased bread pan. Bake it in the preheated oven at 350 F for about an hour. Depending on the oven it may take 5 minutes more or less. So always keep an eye after 45 minutes. Check the doneness by inserting a tooth pick in the center of the bread. You know that the bread is done when the tooth pick comes out clean.
Let it cool down for 10-15 minutes and cut it into slices. Enjoy healthy banana bread.
