Carrot and Beetroot Juice-High Betacarotene juice

Carrot and Beetroot Juice is full of Beta Carotene. Enjoy one glass of juice every day.
Ingredients
Carrot
Beetroot
A piece of ginger
Water
Cardamom powder(optional)
Preparation
Wash carrot and beetroot by scrubbing them very well. Cut them into small pieces. Do not peel. Cut ginger also into small pieces. If you are using cardamom powder it also.

Procedure
Take carrot, beetroot and ginger into your blender along with some water. Blend it until you get a fine juice. You may strain it through a strainer if you want. Or you can enjoy the whole with full fiber. If you are using a high power blender you will get very fine juice that you don't even need to filter. If you are new to vegetable juices, you can add cardamom powder until you get used to the raw smell .

Helpful Tips
Do not peel carrot or beetroot as there are nutrients right below the skin. Just scrub and wash them well.
You can re plant those cut away beet tops. Beet greens are good for juicing.

Health Information
Anti oxidants in carrot and beetroot protect from cancer and heart diseases.
Carrot and beetroot are rich in beta carotene which is a precursor for vitamin A which means with the help of beta carotene our body makes vitamin A.
Beets and carrots are a good source of fiber.

When is the best time to have this juice? ie early morning on empty stomach or before going to bed

Hi Thanks for asking.
Good nutrition is good any time of the day. But this particular nutritional boost will be better bio-available with empty stomach before breakfast than before going to bed.
