Chimili is an Indian traditional sweet recipe made out of sesame seeds and jaggery. It is a high protein and high calcium sweet or snack recipe.
Ingredients
1 cup of brown sesame seeds
3/4 cup of jaggery
You may take 1 cup of jaggery for a rich taste.
Preparation
Dry roast the sesame seeds on low medium heat until they popping up and slightly changing color.
Procedure
Grind the roasted sesame seeds when they are cool down. Add the jaggery when the sesame seeds are ground and grind them together. Grind them until they are mixed together and form like a lump. Transfer the ingredients into a bowl and mix them together with your fingers once. Take some mixture into your hands and start making a lemon size ball. Continue the process until you are done with all the mixture. Simple chimili laddus are ready to eat.

You may eat one laddu per day for good health. They can be stored in room temperature for about 2 weeks.
