Eat probiotic yogurt rice for breakfast and develop good bacteria in your gut.
Yogurt rice is very refreshing and fulfilling. Make it the previous night for your breakfast to get good fermentation.

Ingredients
2 cups of home made yogurt from raw milk.
1 cup of whole milk.
2 cups cooked whole grain brown rice.
2 tsp each of chopped ginger & green chili.
Some finely chopped cilantro.
1 tbsp each of chana dal & urad dal
1 tsp each of mustard and cumin seeds
A few curry leaves & a pinch of hing.
1 1/2 tsp Ghee or oil for tempering & salt to taste.
Preparation
Cook 2 cups of brown rice with 6 cups of water.
Transfer the rice into another big bowl & let it cool down.
Cut green chili & ginger into small pieces.
Chop cilantro finely.
Cooking
Mash up the rice slightly with your ladle inside the bowl.
Add yogurt, milk, green chili, ginger, salt & cilantro to the rice.
Give a good mix.
Take an other pan for tempering & put it on medium heat.
Take oil or ghee in the pan.
When the oil is hot add chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds & cumin seeds.
When mustard seeds start spluttering add hing & curry leaves.
Turn off the flame & add the tempering to yogurt rice & give a mix.
Garnish with cilantro.
Helpful Tips
Do not add yogurt to hot rice as it will curdle.
If yogurt rice gets hard after some time, you may add some water, milk or yogurt.

By using whole grain brown rice instead of white rice you will be getting essential B Vitamins.
