Egg nog is a special flavorful beverage traditionally served during Christmas and Thanksgiving time. Here is my own version for my vegetarian friends without eggs. Enjoy it.
Ingredients
2 cups of whole milk
1/2 cup of fresh or dry coconut powder
1/2 cup of almonds and cashews
any good sweetener of your choice (I used Barley Malt Syrup)
whey protein powder (optional)
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
4 cardamoms finely powdered
fresh nutmeg to garnish
1 cinnamon stick to garnish

Preparation
Powder the cardamom seeds.
You may soak the nuts in water if you want.
Procedure
Take every thing into the blender jar except fresh nutmeg & cinnamon stick.
Blend it fine like a smoothie. Pour it into the serving cups. Grate some fresh nutmeg and put a cinnamon stick and serve it chilled with or without ice cubes. Enjoy the fresh flavors of spices.
