This is a healthy sprouts salad or snack. This is a good diabetic and a weight loss recipe. It can be an evening snack or a side dish. It can be a good lunch box recipe.
Ingredients
1 cup of moong sprouts
1/2 cup green pea sprouts
1 tsp ghee
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
salt to taste
some chopped onions
grated carrot
some finely chopped cilantro
few curry leaves chopped
1/2 a lemon
1 tsp ghee or oil
Preparation
Get your sprouts ready. Watch my video to see How to make Sprouts in different easy ways.
Finely chop onions and cilantro and keep them separately.
Grate the carrot and keep it aside.
Cut the lemon into quarters to squeeze out the juice easily.

Procedure
In a small sauce pan take 1 tbsp oil or ghee. Heat it on medium flame. When the oil is hot add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. When they are spluttering add red chili, hing/asafoetida and curry leaves. Then add sprouts and stir it. Add salt and turmeric powder. Sprinkle little water and cook it covered on low medium flame or low flame for about 3-4 minutes. Turn off the stove and transfer this into a bowl. Add onion, carrot and cilantro and mix them well. Squeeze out the lemon juice too. Mix it one more time and serve it in a small bowl.
