Natural Herbal Tooth Powder-Fluoride Free-Prevents Cavities

1/4/2017

Commercial tooth paste contains sodium lauryl sulfate, propylene glycol, floride and artificial sweeteners. Fluoride is a toxic chemical that accumulates in our body and causes serious health problems including neurological and endocrine dysfunction. The mouth is the most absorbent place in the body. The toxic chemicals will be absorbed by mouth and get into your system easily. That is why some medications like B12 tablets are administered sublingually which means putting under the tongue. So it is your choice what to put inside your mouth.
Ingredients
1 tbsp Amla powder/Indian Gooseberry/Usirikaya
1 tbsp Neem powder/Indian Lilac/Vepaku
1 tbsp Clove powder/Cloves/Lavangalu
1 tbsp Cinnamon/Dalchini/Dalchina chekka
1 tbsp baking soda/Soda bicarb/cooking soda/thine soda/vanta soda
1 tbsp Pink Himalayan salt or sea salt
A tiny pinch of stevia(optional)
Essential oils like peppermint oil, tea tree oil, clove oil. (optional)
1 tsp mint leaf/pudina powder(optional)
Disclaimer
It is only a home remedy and not to treat any of your symptoms.
Preparation
Grind the pink himalayan salt into a fine powder.
All other herbs are available in the powder form. If not make them into a fine powder.
Procedure
Tooth Powder
Take all the herbal powders into a bowl and add baking soda and salt. Mix them very well. If you want your tooth powder a little sweet, add a tiny pinch of stevia. For a nice flavor you may add 10 drops of essential oils that are mentioned in the ingredients. Mix them well again. Homemade tooth powder is ready. Store it in a glass bottle.
Tooth Paste
To this tooth powder, add a little extra virgin coconut oil and bring it into a tooth paste consistency. Store it in a glass container.
How to use it
Tooth paste can be put on your tooth brush and brush your teeth as usual.
Take a small amount of tooth powder into your palm and dip your wet brush. Brush your teeth just like you do normally.
