Learn how to make butter from un pasteurized and non homogenized cow's milk. Learn how to make your own butter sticks also. In case you don't have fresh cream, use heavy whipping cream from grocery store. Butter can be made from whipping cream also.
Ingredients
Cream that has been collected from homemade yogurt. In case you don't have fresh cream, use heavy whipping cream from grocery store.
Preparation

From heavy whipping cream
If you are using heavy whipping cream, there won't be any preparation. You may directly make butter with it.

From whole raw milk
If you are making from whole raw milk, boil the milk first and prepare yogurt. You may refer to my detailed video on "how to make probiotic yogurt."

When the yogurt is made, remove the thick layer from the surface of the yogurt and place it in a separate bowl. This thick layer is called cream or meegada in Telugu and malai in Hindi. You can make butter from this cream or you can accumulate the cream and make butter until you have enough quantity. I accumulate the cream and freeze it until I am ready to make butter. The cream has to be frozen. It can stay in the refrigerate for only 4-5 days.
Procedure
From heavy whipping cream
Take the whipping cream into your blender jar and run the blender in hi speed for about 3 minutes. If it didn't make butter in 3 minutes continue running the blender for 2 more minutes. Transfer the contents into another bowl and separate the butter from the buttermilk.

From natural raw milk
Take out the accumulated cream from the freezer and keep it for about 4 hours in the room temperature. If you thaw out the cream it will be easy to make butter from it. Take the thawed out cream into the blender jar and run the blender on high speed for 2-3 minutes. You may add a cup of water for the blender to run. Check if the butter is made. If not continue for 2-3 minutes more. If you see the butter is separated from the buttermilk, transfer it into another container. If you have more cream to do, continue the process until you finish all the cream. Bring all the butter together and make a round ball. Squeeze the butter by hand to let the buttermilk out of it. Take the butter into another container and add some water. Rinse out the butter in that water. Your homemade fresh butter is ready.
Other methods to make butter
Butter can be made in a bottle like mason jar. Put the cream in the bottle and shake it vigorously for about 15 minutes. You can add some water too. Butter will be separated from buttermilk.
Butter can be made with the help of a churner. Churn the cream with a traditional butter churner by adding some water.
