How to Cut and Store Pumpkin in the Freezer

How to cut and store Pumpkin for six months. This video will give you an idea how you can cut and store in your freezer for a long time. I hope it is little helpful. You can also share with me if you have any other ideas.
You need
A big knife.
Zip lock bags
Plastic wrap

Cutting board
Preparation
Wash the pumpkin thoroughly in the kitchen sink.

Procedure
Keep the washed Pumpkin on a cutting board horizontally.
Insert a big and sharp knife on the top and cut it through to make two halves.
Scoop out the seeds into a bowl with the help of a sharp spoon.
Take out the inner membrane into another bowl.
Then the two cut halves of pumpkin are ready to cut further into desired size pieces.
Do not peel. It is a good source of fiber.
I cut mine into two inch pieces and some I left as big pieces.
You may do how ever you need.
The big pieces I wrapped with a plastic wrap and kept in the refrigerator.
The small pieces I put in ziplock bags and kept in the freezer.
These can be stored in freezer for about 6 months. 
The ones that you keep in the refrigeration section you need to use within 4-5 days.
The inside membrane can be used in soups.

Except the small portion by the stem everything is useful.

Helpful Tips
During the months of October and November Pumpkins are available in the U.S. 
After Halloween they will be cheaper to buy also. You may buy at that time and store them. You can enjoy different recipes for a while.


Health Information
Pumpkin is a good source of fibre.
It is a low fat and low calorie vegetable.
It as lot of antioxidants.
It is a good source of alpha and beta carotenes and zeaxanthin.
Zeaxanthin improves the vision.
