How to freeze ginger garlic paste

5/2/2016

Make your own ginger garlic paste at home and freeze it. It can be stored in the freezer for a long time.
Ingredients
Take equal amounts of ginger and garlic.
A pinch of turmeric powder.
A pinch of Himalayan salt.
1-2 tbsp of oil(optional).

Preparation
Chop ginger and garlic finely.
Grind them into a paste along with turmeric powder and salt.
You may add some oil for the grinder to run smoothly.

Procedure
Scoop out the paste with a tea spoon or a table soon and place them in a plate. Now put the plate in the freezer for about an hour. Transfer the individually frozen balls into a box and store in the freezer. They do not stick to each other as they are frozen individually. Since they are pre measured as tsp or tbsp, when the recipe calls for a tsp you can use 1 ball. These are very handy for cooking and makes your life so easy.
