Grow garlic greens in your back yard and enjoy them in your cooking. Just like green onions green garlic is also very easy to grow in small containers or plant pots. Green garlic has mild smell and taste of garlic. They have the same benefits as garlic bulbs or matured garlic.
What you need
One plant pot or any container with soil.
Some garlic cloves.

Procedure
Take your individual garlic cloves and stick them in the soil inside the pot. You may put directly in the ground if you want. Sprinkle some water. Water them when the soil looks dry. In about 1 week garlic cloves starts getting leaves. You may pick the leaves in 3-4 weeks. Just like green onions pick the older leaves and you get the new leaves again.
They are good for your cooking. Soups, salads and curries will turn out tasty with garlic greens.
