How to make butter from cream which is collected from milk. In my earlier video I shared how to make. butter from cream collected from yogurt. In this video we will see how to collect cream directly from milk and with that cream we will make butter. By using a stick blender I am going to makethis butter.
Ingredients
Cream which has been collected from boiled milk.
Some water.
Cream which has been collected from boiled milk.
Some water.
Preparation
First of all boil some milk in a vessel. Do not boil milk on high flame. Leave it on low flame for a few minutes, until you see a layer on the surface of milk. Then switch off the flame and let the milk get cold. When the milk comes to the room temperature, you may collect the cream of layer from the surface. To get a thick layer of cream I keep my milk in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. Collect the thick layer from milk and transfer into another container. You may make butter immediately with the collected cream or store it in the freezer and do later. I like to collect cream everyday and freeze it. Whenever I feel like I make butter with it. You may freeze the cream for a longer period. But in the refrigeration section you can't keep more than 4 days.

Procedure
Bring the collected cream out out of freezer and leave it in the room temperature for at least a couple of hours. Then add some water and start churning with a stick blender. Do not add too much water because the process takes longer. You can also make butter with the help of a traditional hand churner or in a blender or in a mixer/grinder. In a very few minutes you will see the butter is separating from the liquid. If not continue churning until you see the butter.
Transfer the butter into another container and leave the buttermilk behind. Add some fresh water to butter and rinse it. Drain that water into the buttermilk because it is good and you can use it. Rinse the butter a couple more times. If the rinsed water is too dilute, there is no need to save. Your fresh butter from milk cream is ready to use.
It can store in the refrigerator for four days or freeze it for a long time. If you want to make butter sticks watch my other video here.
