If the dough is loose add some besan to make a tight dough.
Adjust the salt for your taste.

When the oil is hot take some onion besan dough into your hand and drop into the hot oil carefully.
Do not try to drop like balls or lumps.
When they are turning light golden color turn them to the other side and continue frying until golden color on this side also.
When both sides are golden brown, take them into a paper napkin to drain out the excess oil.
Continue frying all the pakodis in the same way.
Serve them hot with coriander chutney or sweet tamarind chutney or you can serve them as they are.
Helpful Tips
It is important to prepare the onions first. Otherwise the dough gets watery later.
You can always sprinkle some water or sprinkle some besan to get the right consistency of the batter.
Health Information
This is a tasty fast food which is deep fried in oil. Obviously it is not healthy when it is deep fried. So we have to be moderate. But it is always better when you make it at home. Because you will be making with a better cooking oil not a used or rancid oil. There is no refined flour used in here which is a good thing.
