Peanut Milk and yogurt- High Protein, Brain Boosting and Heart Healthy

Peanuts are rich in protein. They are brain boosting and heart healthy. One cup of peanuts contain about 38 gms. of protein whereas regular cow milk has only about 8 gms. Peanuts contain resveratrol which reduces the risk of heart disease and cancer. 
Ingredients
1 cup of peanuts
4 cups of water
Preparation
Wash the peanuts and soak in water overnight or at  least for 4 hours.
Drain the water.
Procedure
​Take the peanuts into your blender/grinder and add 3 cups of water. Grind them on high speed to get milk. Strain it into a clean container. Take the pulp back into the grinder and add 1 more cup of water. Grind it again on high speed. Strain it again. Squeeze the pulp to get all the milk.

How to use Peanut Milk
Peanut milk can be enjoyed by itself or by mixing with regular cow milk.
It can be used in making curries , soups etc.
Peanut milk is a good protein supplement for both children and adults.

It is a very easy to make vegan milk that you can make everyday.
This milk has No preservatives, No artificial flavors or colors.
It also doesn't have antibiotics or growth hormones.


How to make flavorful peanut milk
​Take some milk in a small vessel and put that vessel in a bigger vessel. Fill the bottom/bigger vessel with water. Place this whole thing on the stove top and heat it up on medium flame. This process is called double boiler method. Add cardamom powder, black pepper powder and a few strands of saffron. Bring it into a boil. Switch off the flame and then add honey. Enjoy the flavorful peanut milk
How to make peanut yogurt
Add a couple of tsps of yogurt or some yogurt starter in the prepared peanut milk. Stir it and place the vessel in a warm place overnight. Next day morning yogurt will be done. If not continue placing in the warm place until yogurt is made. Unlike in regular cow's milk yogurt, in peanut yogurt the water is separated from milk solids. Mix it well before using.
