Procedure
Boil water in another pot and add little salt to it.
When the water comes to a boil, turn down the heat to low and add the rava.
Keep stirring. If all the water is consumed, turn off the heat and let it cool down.
If there is water, cover it and cook for 1 or 2 minutes.
Then turn off the heat and let it cool down.
After cooling down add 1 tsp of ghee and knead it to remove any lumps.
Make them into oval shape balls.
Apply oil on your palm and fingers.
Take a dough ball into your hand and make a cup shape or some what like a boat shape. Place one coconut ball and put it in the center of the boat.
Start covering the coconut ball with the dough. Seal it completely and smooth it out in your hand as shown in the video. Try to keep the oval shape. Shape really doesn't matter but in the traditional way we make it into an oval shape. Wet your hands with little water or oil as needed to avoid sticking to your hands.
Continue the same procedure to make all undrallu.
Steaming
Place all undrallu in a colander and put it in a bigger container filled with water.
Cover this whole thing and steam undrallu for 10 minutes on medium high flame.
Note: Make sure the water in the bottom of the container is not touching the colander. Keep a small distance in between the undrallu to avoid sticking to each other.
You may offer Lord Ganesha and take them as prasadam.
