Quinoa veggie soup for weight loss-Reduces cholesterol & blood sugar. It contains all the nutrients like protein, carbohydrate, fiber and plenty of antioxidants. This is a zero oil recipe.
Ingredients
1 cup of quinoa
1/4 cup of moong dal
2 carrots
1 onion
4 celery sticks
1 green bell pepper
1 tomato 2 garlic cloves
2 inch piece of ginger
handful of cilantro
Spices
Pink Himalayan salt
crushed red chili flakes
a tiny pinch of stevia or 1 tsp jaggery
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder

Preparation
Wash the vegetables and cut them into small pieces.
Wash and soak quinoa and moong dal for 30 minutes separately.

Take 1-2 cups of water in a big pot which is on medium heat. Add washed and soaked quinoa and moong dal. Add all the cut vegetables. Now add more water. You may add as much water as you want. Now add pink Himalayan salt, red chili flakes or black pepper powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder. Also add a tiny pinch of stevia or jaggery. If you don't like sweetness in your soup, you may skip the sweetener. But it gives a balancing taste. Let it cook on low medium flame for 10-15 minutes. You may simmer it for 5 more minutes if you want. Add cilantro and serve it hot.
