Radish greens /leaves contains more nutrients like iron, calcium, phosphorus, folic acid, vitamin A & C. In fact the greens are more nutritious than the root itself.
Ingredients
a small bunch of radish greens/Mullangi aakulu/Mooli ke patte
one medium size onion
2 tsp sesame seeds
a few peanuts
a pinch of turmeric powder
salt to taste
For tempering
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp chana dal
1 tsp urad dal
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
a pinch of hing/asafoetida
a few curry leaves

Prepararion
Separate the radish greens from roots and wash them well. Chop them finely.
Cut the onion into small pieces.
Dy roast sesame seeds and peanuts and let them cool down. Then make a coarse powder.
procedure
Place a pan or skillet on medium heat with oil. When the oil is hot add chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Keep stirring. When the mustard seeds are spluttering, add hing and curry leaves.  If you like add crushed garlic also. Let the garlic fry until it just changes color. Then add onion. Stir it once. Add a little salt and a pinch of turmeric powder. Stir it well, cover and cook on low medium for one or two minutes. Then add radish greens and stir it once. Add enough salt for the curry and stir it again. Now cover it and cook on low medium for 3-4 minutes.
After 4 minutes stir it once and notice that the curry is cooked. Add red chili powder and mix it with the curry. Add the peanut and sesame powder also and mix everything well. Easy and simple radish greens curry is ready. Enjoy the curry with chapati or rice. Please give me your feed back.
