The best way to eat sweet potatoes is to roast them in the oven with some jaggery and butter. This tastes heavenly with the flavor of cinnamon and nuts.
Ingredients
2 large sweet potatoes
2 tbsp of butter
2 tbsp of jaggery ( try to get dark colored jaggery)
some cashews and almonds
1/4 to 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder or cardamom powder

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350'F.
Wash and cut sweet potato into small pieces. You may peel or not.
Procedure
Take the sweet potato into a baking dish. Cut the butter stick into small pieces and spread on the sweet potatoes. Spread jaggery also. Sprinkle nuts also. Finally sprinkle some cinnamon powder or cardamom powder. Put it in the oven and bake it until the sweet potatoes are soft and jaggery gets caramelized. In between take it out and stir a couple of times.
Enjoy them as a side dish or snack or a dessert.
